PARSONS

Parsons Historical Museum

    Open Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m., May through October. Light bulb collections, old maps, directories, 70 year old dental office, horse-drawn hearse and more.

Parsons Iron Horse Museum

(located in replica of1880 MK&T depot) 18th and Corning, just West of the Historical Museum, 620-421-7030
Open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 1:00-4:00 p.m., May through October. China and silver from dining cars, equipment, photographs, memorabilia and more. A KATY engine and caboose are located on the museum grounds.

Historic Oakwood Cemetery

  • South of Main on Leawood
    Final resting place of 375 Civil War Veterans. Veteran's Memorials, Gazebo and Cannons set in beautiful oak forest!
